Sorry, I’m not going to say anything very useful, but no one has replied, and I just wanted to share your frustration. I still haven’t got over being told by CHC that, now my autistic brother had had a stroke, his autism was no longer relevant and they didn’t need to worry about it! We were lucky, in that we temporarily had a good social worker fighting our corner, and homes refused to take him without adequate support. The situation still isn’t perfect, but could have been worse.
If you can find a solicitor to help, that sounds good. Also try contacting your member of parliament. Some can be very helpful, and they often know the right buttons to press to get people to look at things again. When we were struggling with some different problems a few years ago, it’s amazing what the phrase “an MP is taking an interest” can do.
I wish I could be more helpful, but did want to say good luck - and keep fighting!
