My daughter is 24yrs and has downs syndrome, she left college 3yrs ago and won’t go out of the house since, she has a care plan and budget of £21,565.00,in that time her social worker has been 3 times,I have been asking for a wheelchair referral for last 4yrs as my daughter is poor walker and will get us out,we have never had any appointment yet,one community nurse told us they don’t make them that size, and no because she can walk, the only thing we have been offered off SW is half a day at persona a room up the road from us,and that’s all no info,or support ever, from SS,then we told her budget has been stopped because my daughter no longer wants PA to take her out which she paid out of her budget and brokerage person dealt with all money, which we have never had in the 3yrs we have been housebound, does this seem right for social care as we don’t even know what she is entitled to from social services and community
