Hello
Christmas and new year can be very expensive so my family has a limit of £10 for presents for anyone over 18.
This means you have to get very creative with present ideas.
My topic present idea this year is Oxfam beer bread
Do you have any great present ideas to share?
Cheers Sarah
@SarahL Love the beer bread! If you’re buying for little ones, I really like some of the picture books available at The Works - 10 for £10. https://www.theworks.co.uk/c/multibuys/10-for-10
To keep the cost down over Christmas I try to make some of my own presents and cards. Here are a few ideas:
One year I bought ice cube moulds like lego figures and managed to melt ordinary crayons and pour them in. They worked really well but were a bit too nice to use!
Cooking is not my strong point but some homemade fudge / toffee/ cookies are always lovely.
It’s not exactly cheap but I have also painted pottery and then given it as a gift. The baubles weren’t too expensive and looked fab.
There are loads of ideas if you look online too.
