Hi my name is Tilly. I am a mum of a 27 years old Autistic son . I and my husband look after our son at home. We are looking for a respite for him. A place he can go to get some independence and for us to have some time for ourselves. Can anyone recommend a good respite or care provider?
I hope this is of some help. Have a look on this site, I have found useful information in the past: http://www.hft.org.uk/Supporting-people/Our-services/Short-breaks/Also, although I have no personal experience of this organisation, I have heard good things:http://www.orbis-group.co.uk/
I hope those are of some use to you.
Please share the website and Facebook page detailing the inadequate care and support provided to a vulnerable autistic person, with everyone you know. Thank you. www.whileincare.info http://www.whileincare.info/blog/ (contains photo evidence)
