Hello,
I’m Bronwen! I’m a trainee clinical psychologist, currently conducting some research as part of my doctoral thesis. More importantly however, I’m a sibling to someone with learning disabilities, an experience which has ultimately inspired the topic for my research.
The research is looking to interview siblings (aged 18 or above) of individuals with learning disabilities, specifically focusing on their views and experiences of the future care planning process - how this is talked about/planned within families etc
As a sibling myself, I’m aware that siblings sometimes struggle to get their voices heard and I therefore believe that this research could be really valuable.
As with all research studies, there are various inclusion/exclusion criteria - unfortunately at present, I’m not able to recruit siblings of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. However, should I open up the research in the future, I will re-post again!
If anyone is at all interested, please feel free to email me and I can send you some further information/have more of a chat about it/discuss eligibility etc.

I hope this has been ok for me to post here!
Thank you!!
