You’ve probably seen all the publicity about making sure doctors and nurses know more about learning disability. This has been the focus of the Treat Me Well campaign and there have also been a lot of high profile parents demanding change.
The Government has agreed that things need to change and they have launched a consultation to ask you what you think doctors and nurses need to know.
People with a learning disability, family members, carers, campaigners and health care professionals are all welcome to to take part in the consultation.
Go directly to the online consultation on the GOV.UK website.
You have until Friday 12 April 2019 to get your responses in.
