Hello. I received a phone call from our local authority last week to make an appt to reassess my daughters DRE re her ESA. Sheis 25 years old and has Down’s syndrome. She has ESA and is in the support group. I am a bit confused now as I was under the impression that as of September 2017 people in the support group would not be reassessed if they are unlikely to ever be able to work which sadly my daughter is in this category. I wonder if anyone else here has ever come across this situation? It is very daunting as the lady who is coming to potentially do this actually said to me on the telephone that she is seen as “one of the bad guys”. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thank you
