Hi
Happy InternationalWomensDay!
There are so many incredible women we admire.
Who do amazing things everyday that create real change. Who do you admire?
There is also a lot about this on Twitter today using #InternationalWomensDay. Have a look at Mencapâs Twitter for some ideas.
I really admire my sister. She is always supports me and lends a hand when I need it. We havenât always seen eye to eye but now we are grown up we are closer than ever. I just couldnât manage without her.
lovely to hear this @Maggie-home
I really admire Esther Ranzen. I love how she helped set up Childline and then SilverLine. Great charities.
I know she and her daughter are also very switched on about learning disabilities. I say her interview someone from Mencap the other week on Do the Right thing.
Hi that was me who got interviewed , My name is Amy Clarke and work in Digital Comms but also is a spokesperson trained to do media interviews.
I admire my mum who helped me with my learning disability, she also looks after a sibling I got near eastbourne too
ok - I am going to be a bit more traditional. Here are some women that I really admire
I remember Anne Frankâs dad on Blue Peter too! I found it very hard to understand that he had survived (and was still alive) when she had died. Tricky stuff for children (and adults) to understand.
Her diary had a huge impact on me as a child.
Thanks for posts Sarah
